![]() ![]() ![]() The Bose 700 UC has 8 total microphones built into it, they use 6 for active noise cancelling and 4 for noise cancelling microphone (2 are shared between the two features). All headsets take a while for you to become used to it but with this Bose, I haven't found it to be true as of yet. That being said, I find that the shape of the headband puts extra pressure on my head making it not comfortable for all-day use, some days I feel like it gave me a headache. Overall I'd say this headset is comfortable for a headset that has this type of sound quality and noise cancelling. The ear cups are labeled right and left so there is only one proper way to wear the headset but I found it very easy to adjust the headset to the shape of my head to find the proper fit.Īfter using this headset for over a few weeks this is my final thought. What's unique about the Bose 700 UC design is that the whole ear cup with the speaker moves up and down rather than just the headband which I've never seen before on a headset. This is excellent and will get travelers through long flights without a problem. These noise cancelling headphones have oversize ear cushions that fully cover your ears so it does a great job of blocking out ambient noise around you without putting pressure directly onto your ears.Īdjustable ear cushions allow the headset to conform to many different shapes and sizes of heads. In our testing, we found the headphones lasted closer to 20 hours with ANC on, which isn’t far from the company’s rating. The headphones do a decent job of keeping out the noise of a busy commute but voice and higher frequencies still get through.īattery life is rated at an impressive 22 hours with ANC enabled and up to 28 hours with ANC disabled. but, at half the price, you wouldn’t expect them to be. The Go 810's ANC leaves a lot to be desired, especially compared to leaders like the Bose QC 35 II and the Sony WH-1000XM3. There’s also an annoying faint hiss when there’s no music playing, something that doesn’t happen with the Platronics BackBeat Pro 2. With ANC disabled, the headphone’s bass gets overwhelming and sounds loose. We tried the headphone with both ANC on and off and found it sounded best with ANC on. In terms of sound, the Plantronics BackBeat GO 810 are good, but fall flat of a few areas: the tonal balance is slightly warm from neutral, but the headphones don’t provide a lot of detail. ![]()
